FREEZING WORKERS.
A CONFERENCE ON WAGES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Freezing Workers' Federation has been notified that the associated freezing companies will meet the Federation in conference next Wednesday morning to discuss the position regarding increased wages for employees in the whole of the Dominion. Christchurch, Last Night. Although freezing workers are asking for increased wages, men spoken to say a strike is not likely, and certainly not desired ill these times of high prices.
