JN AN ENGLISH CHURCHYARD. By Telegraph.—Prea* Asm.—Copyrljht. Received Jan. 30, 9.5 p.m. London, Jan. 23. Plana have been prepared for a memorial obelisk to be erected in the Harefield Pariah Church to 110 Australians buried In the churchyard. The plinth bears the Australian Army emblem on one side fend two fern leaves on the other side, together With the inscription: "To the glory of God!, who giveth us the victory, pud in memory of the brave Australian tdldiere, who, after taking part in the great war, now rest in Harefield's churchgud. This memorial is erected by Sir 'jfra&cis Newdegate, Governor of TasJB*nia. , '- j -Aua.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
