The final of the lawn tennis singles championship of Australia resulted in an easy win for A.- P. Klngseote (Britain), who defeated Pockley (N.SIW.), 6—4. S—o, C—3. In the doubles semi-final Anderson and Lowe beat Peach and Rico, 6—4, J—s, B—6. THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION. New York, Jan. 27. Mr. George Adee, president of the United States National Lawn Tennis Association, states that he disapproves of the proposed changes in the tennis rules, such as the foot fault and scoring system, on the ground that It would interfere with the United States position In International matches.—Aus.-N.Z.
