HOLIDAY QUEEN CARNIVAL.

TO-DAY'S CROWNING CEREMONY. The coronation of Miss Claudia Weston (Nparaotii Candidate), as queen of the Holiday Seaside Carnival, will take place at the East End Reserve at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Mr. S. G. Smith, M.P., will conduct the ceremony. The Queen-elect and her committee, and the East End candidate (Miss Lilia Bellriuger) and her committee will leave the Post Office in motor-cars at 2.30 to proceed to the carnival. A gaily decorated dais will be provided there, and the Citizens' Band will play appropriate music daring the ceremony.
