AUSTRALIAN DETECTIVE HONORED

Received Jan. 25, 5.5 p.m. London, Jan- 23. Detective-Sergeant Brennan, after Ave fears' special police service with the Australian forces in Egypt, France and England, returns by the Osterley tomorrow. In recognition of the harmonious relations during his close co-opera-tion with Scotland Yard the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department presented Detective Brennan with a gold watch. In an interview Detective Brennan said' the general behaviour of Australians in London was exceptionally good. All Australians serving sentences were now repatriated. A PRIVY COUNCIL CASE.
