WATERSIDERS' UNION.
ANNUAL PICNIC. The annual picnic in connection with the New Plymouth Waterside Workers' Union will be held at the Breakwater on Thursday next, January 29th. No effort is being spared to make an enjoyable day's outing for all who accept the general invitation extended to- the public to be present. Tea, hot water, milk, and sugar (as far as the present shortage of this very necessary commodity will permit) will be free' to all. A good programme of races and other events will be arranged. Another departure, which will doubtless be availed of by many, will be the launch trips round the harbor, Mr. W. Skipper having kindly placed his fine motor launch at the disposal of the committee. For these excursions a small charge will be made. The committee wish to thank the various shipping offices for cash donations to the picnic funds, also Messrs. Morey and Son for drapery to the value of 10/6.
