SOCIAL FUNCTIONS. Mrs. L. C. Sladden was hostess at a most delightful picnic for young people last Tuesday at Ngamotu Beach. A most enjoyable afternoon was Spent in bathing, and afterwards tea was partaken of on the beach, about forty being present. An impromptu dance was held at the Ngamotu Palladium on Thursday, Miss Kettle (Wellington) being the guest of honour. All had a thoroughly enjoyable time. • • • # Two very enjoyable parties were given this week for young people by Mrs. D'Arcy Robertson and Mrs Faber Fookes.
