MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

YESTERDAY'S SITTING. A short sitting of the New Plymouth Magistrate's Court was held yesterday morning, Mr. H. E. Cattley 4 J.P., being on the bench. James Mudford, for allowing three cows to be at large on Corbett Road, contrary to the County by-laws, was fined 5/- (costs 12/-.) Peter Manning, for allowing one of his horses to be at large on the Main South Road, Oakura, was fined 10/- (costs 12/-,) Robert Frederick Roebuck, for allowing two cows to be at large on the Main South Road, Oftkura, was fitted 10/(cosite 7/-.) Benjamin Tippings (ranger for the Taranaki County Council) prosecuted in each case.
