The following have been appointed Charges d'Affaires, and will later become Ambassadors:— London—Herr Samburg and Herr Stakmer. Paris.—Ex-Treasurer Meyer. Brussels.—Ex-Minister Landsberg. Tokio.—Ex-Minister Dr. Solf. The Tokio appointment indicates Germany's Pacific Ocean policy, and perhaps provides the key to the future world policy. —United Service. [Dr. Solf was formerly German Colonial Minister, and at one time was the German official at Samoa.]
