ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S. "TWO BIT SEATS" TO-NIGHT ONLY. Taylor Holmes, the popular Essanay star, supported by beautiful Marguerite Clayton, heads the cast in "Two Bit Seats," to-night's new programme at Everybody's. It is a sterling story of a romantic adventure brought about by queer circumstances. A seat in the gallery next a pretty girl, a hatpin that brought romance into bis life, an employer suspected of kidnapping by the young lover, all furnish their quota towards joyous entertainment. Taylor Holmes is thoroughly satisfying and natural in this comedy, and appears to much better advantage than in his previous plays. The programme includes "Wolves of Kultur," Gazette, and Comedy. HAROLD LOCKWOOD TO-MORROW. To-morrow and Friday, Harold Lockwood, most beloved of stars, appears in what is generally conceded to be his masterpiece, "Pals First," a Metro mas-ter-play in six reels.

THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF CHAS. RAY.. The big fun boom at the People's, concluding with to-night's screening, presents the latest in Mack Sennett menagerie comedies, "No Mother to Guide Him," and popular Charles Ray in a particularly humorous play, "The Girl Dodger." The latest gazettes are also shown.

BERT LYTELL TO-MORROW. Popular Bert Lytell, the leading Metro male star, appears to-morrow night in a particularly forceful and entertaining Metro play, entitled "The Spender." The story is a strong one, and Mr. Lytell is supported by a strong cast.

THE EMPIRE. MARY PICKPORD IN "DADDY LONG LEGS." Commencing at the matinee next Saturday at the Empire, Mary Piekford's first picture by her own company, "Daddy Long Legs," will be presented to local picture patrons. Mothered by an ash-can, christened by a telephone directory, and reared on the wholesale plan in an .orphanage—these were the legacies left Judy Abbott in "Daddy Long Legs." As Judy, Mary Pickford makes a triumphal entry into her long merited position at the head of her own company, her own production from her own studios. Although she has become recognised as "the world's sweetheart," she has never in the past dono anything that so justly entitled her to the* soubriquet as "Daddy Long Legs." That it is her greatest success k undoubted—the great critic, the public, has already set its seal on the production, and pronounced it good beyond measure. "Daddy Long Legs" will be screened Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, with matinees on Saturday and Tuesday. Prices of admission will be D.C. 2/0, stalls 2/- and ]/-, reserves 2/0 at Collier's; children (id to matinees. Saturday's patrons would be wise to reserve seats without delay.
