Woodville, Jan. 17. A meeting of the stewards of the Woodville District Jockey Club last night'considered the Silver Tongue ease and the objection from S. W. Tatham. The following resolution was passed:— "That the objection be upheld and the horse Silver Tongue be disqualified for the race; that the owner, T. E. Welch, be fined twenty sovereigns, and that the action of J. Sullivan be reported to the District Committee." It is understood that an appeal will be made.
