FIUME'S FUTURE.
A NEW SCHEME. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Paris, Jan. 13. The Anglo-French proposal to solve the Fiume problem has been abandoned, as it is not pleasant to both the Italian and Jugo-Slav delegations. Mr. Lloyd George has submitted a new scheme, creating Fiume a corpus Beparatum under Italian sovereignty, while the League of Nations guarantees that the Jugo-Slavs shall have free use of the harbor and railways.—Aus.-N.Z.
