SECRET TREATY DENIED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, Jan. 14. A United Press message from Mexico City state? that General Barragan, Mexican chief-of-staff, denies the report cabled on January, 12 that the Japanese cruiser Yakumo landed arms Ist Mant&nillo. He says that tine at Manzanillo. He says that the cruiser's visit was one of courtesy. Senor Medina, sub-secretary for Foreign Affairs, denies the existence of a secret treaty between Japan and Mexi-co.—Aus.-NZ. Cable Assn.
