THE SAMOAN TRIP.

TO START NEXT MONTH. By Telegraph—Pwbs Association. Wellington, Jan. 14. Cabinet lias decided to proceed with tho Parliamentary visit to Samoa. Telegrams are now being sent on behalf of the Premier to members inviting them to take part. The steamer will leave in the second week in February, and the trip will occupy about thirty days. Invitations are being issued to members themselves, and not to their wives. It ib not expected that the Premier will be able to accompany the party, but Sir James Allen will go. It is hoped to arrange for the trade commissioners to accompany the Parliamentary Party. The High Commissioner of tho Pacific desires a conference between trade representatives of the Dominion and the Fijian Administration, and this will probably be arranged at the same time. The selection of business men to act as trade commissioners is now under consideration.
