KOLTCHAK RESIGNS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Jan. 13. Koltchak telegraphed to -Irkutsk resigning, and asking for Allied protection. This was granted, and the Czechs ordered a rescue. It appears that the whole of Koltchak's troops at Irkutsk joined the revolutionaries, making the GoVernment's position hopeless. Semenov's forces are demoralised and the revolutionaries now hold all towns west of Lake Baikal.—Times. London, Jan. 12. A Bolshevik communique states: "We have captured Rostoff on the Don, taking 11,000 prisoners, seven tanks, and 35 guns. At least 60,000 prisoners were secured at Kraonoyars." -
