The Government Statistician reports that during the past five years the number of fatories has increased from 5269 to 5450. and wages have increased from £12,5187,721 in 1914 to £17,029,829 in 1918-191T9. AUSTRALIAN SAVINGS.
Sydney, Jan. 13. Deposits in the Savings Banks of the Commonwealth show an increase from £84,000,000 in 1914 to £130,000,000 in 1919.
