LONDON HEMP MARKET. The Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce has received the following cablegram, dated January 10, from the High Commissioner of New Zealand, London:— "Hemp: Manila continues in active demand; market steady at previous quotations. Current prices for "J" grade September-Novem-ber shipment and October-December shipment £6O IDs; January-March shipment and Febru-ary-April shipment £6l. New Zealand, market steady and quiet. High point on spot sold for £55, fair £49 to £sl. Present quotations are: Spot high point £SO, fair £sl, sellers, January-March shipment, £53 and £4B respectively, sellers."
