DATE OF NEXT SESSION.
SIR JAMES ALLEN'S OPINION. Sir James Allen, who passed through Christchurch on his way to Wellington, was asked as to when Parliament will meet. He replied: "It is for Mr. Massey to say when Parliament will meet, but I do not think there is any necessity for it meeting before June. The Government must be given time to prepare its policy."
