UNDESIRABLES.
ONE DEPARTS; ANOTHER NOT WELCOME. tty Telegraph—press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Moses Baritz, who was ordered to leave New Zealand under the provisions of the Undesirable Immigrants Restriction Act, was a passenger by the Moeraki for Sydney last night. Another case under' the Undesirable Immigrants Exclusion Act is reported. A short time ago, Mr. F. Niall, secretary of the Freezing' Trades Federation, inquired whether a slaughterman named Michael Blaney, now in Australia, would be permitted to come to Xew Zealand for the purpose of engaging in his occupation in New Zeoland sheds. He has since been informed that acting under legislation of last session, the At-torney-General would withhold permission for him to land in New Zealand. No reasons were given. Mr. Ninll states that Blaney was deported fiom New Zealand in 1918. He was a man who spoke freely, and was evidently regarded in the light of an agitator.
