SWIMMING.
NORMAN ROSS VISIT ABANDONED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Chrlstchurch, Yesterday. Norman Ross, tho American swimmer, is unable to reach New Zealand till the end of February, and is obliged to leave on March 6. The New Zealand Swimming Association has therefore communicated with the Australian union abandoning the arrangements mad% for Ross' New Zealand tour.
