RIFLE SHOOTING.

The Hawera Defence RIUo Club's ".shoot on Saturday last was favored with fine weather, although the light was dull. The lady supporters again did cood service, everything passing off without a hitch. The outstanding feature of the day was the excellent shooting of Rifleman E, Ingram, who has been shooting consistently since joining the club. His card read: 300yds—5, 5, 4, 5 5 5—34' 500yd9—5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5—35; COOvcls— 5, 4, 5, 5, 5, 4, s—33—a total of 102, the best score yet registered on the range. Rfimn. W.
