LOSSES OF THE ALLIES. M. Louis Maris, the Reporter of tlie Public Commission of the Chamber, publishes the otlicial figures of the losses of the Allied Armies during the war up to November, 1918. The figures are as follows: Belgium U.S.A Krent Britain The wounded in the French Army numbered 2,800,000. According to the report of M. Maris, the expenses of the war to France amounted to 159,000,000,000 francs ( £6,3*80,000,000). In view of the splendid service rendered to the Allies by Serbia from the very beginning of the war it is remarkable that her total of fatal casualties should be less than those of Koumania. In regard to the French casualties it may he noted that they include those of her colored colonial troops, which, especially in the last year of the war, were very heavy.
