MOVEMENTS OF UNION SHIPS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. _, ~ Dunedin, Jan. 3. The Union Company's new freighter Walhemo, on her maiden voyage from England, clßared Panama Canal on Decembr 30. She is due at Vancouver on January 16, and leads there and at San Pr&nflsco for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Sydney. The Tofua, from San Francisco, advises by wireless that she will arrive at Wellington on Monday morning. The Wairuna, en route from Sau Francisco to Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney, advises that she will arrive at Suva on January », for bunkers. She Is due at Auckland on January 15.

The Union Company officials state that there Is nothing fresh to report regarding the Niagara's detention at Sydney owing to the engineers' strike.
