The Times correspondent at Belfast states that tho story of an extraordinary outrage was heard at the Ulster Assizes, when three young men were charged with assaulting a girl of in. It was stated that the three dressed in women's clothes and, wearing veils, followed the girl and a young man' on an evening walk. The young man bolted, and the girl was thrown down, gagged, and tarred and feathered. The police attributed the assault to jealousy.
