NEW PLYMOUTH. Postal branch: Thursday Dec. 25, and Thursday January 1 (Christmas and New Year's Days), will be observed as closo holldajs. On Friday, December 20 (Boxing Day), the post office will be open In ail branches, except Money Order and Savings Bank, from 9 a.m. to 10 am. Tho telograph office will be open on Thursday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day), from 10 a.m. to 10.30 a.m, and from 5 to 5.30 pm. On Friday, Dec. 20 (Boxing Day), arid Thursday, January 1 (New Year's Day), the hours will bo from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and 7 p.m. to midnight. The telephone exchange will remain open continuously. Sunday hours will be observed in the private box lobby on Doc 2;> and January 1, usual hours on December 2f> (Boxing Day). Mails usually despatched on Thursday will be closed Wednesday nights December 24 and 31 at O p.m. On December 25 (Boxing Day) the usual despatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will bo made. The railway travelling post office will run as usual. Counter deliveries of town letters' (Including registered) will be made on Wednesdays Dec 24 and 31, from S to 9 p.m. Postmen will make one complete delivery on Dec, 26 (Boxing Day), commencing at 7.30 a.m. There will be no delivery on either Christmas or New Year's Day. For Auckland and North, per s.s. Rarawa, Monday and Wednesday, at 7 p.m. MONDAY, JANUARY 5. For Auckland and North, per Rarawa at 7 p m. For United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, United States of America, Central and South America, West Indios, via Vancouver; also, Honolulu, Japan, Fanning island and Fiji (per s.s. Niagara, from Auckland), at 6.15 am. Best despatch. (Money-orders close Friday, January 2, at 4 p.m.) TUESDAY, JANUARY 0.
