VAIN CRIES FOR HELP. By Telegraph —Press Assn.—Copyrieht, Nova-Scotia, Dec. 19. The Dutch steamer Anton van Driel was wrecked off Cape Race. All hands were lost. Received Dec. 30, 7.55 p.m. Halifax, Dec. 29. The Anton van Driel was overwhelmed in rocks. Survivors are calling for help, bnt thp lifeboatmen are unable to aid them. One by one sailors dragged in from the surf twenty dead, but not one survivor. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
