SHAMROCK OR VANITY? London, Dec. 9. "Everybody wants me to lift the cup this time," said Sit Thomas Lipton in an interview on his arrival from New York. "I saw the Shamrock, in line trim, carrying 20 per cent, bigger sails, anchored beside her probable opponent, the Vanity. I would riot swop my boat for her."
