EGYPTIAN LINE ACQUIRED. London, Nov. 24. Advice has lieen received that the purchase of the IChedivial Mail Steamship and Graving Dock Company by the Peninsular and Oriental, and associated lines, negotiations for which have been in progress for some time, has been completed. Included in the new assets of the company are numerous graving docks and repair shops in Egypt, and a largo fleet of fast cargo and passenger steamers. Other shipping lines purchased lately by the P. and 0. Company are the Mercantile Steamship Company, the vessels of Nourso and Company, the well-known coolie emigrant ships, and the New Zealand Shipping Company.
