At tho Westport Boxing Association's tournament tills morning, Jack Griffin (9.9) (Oicymouh) defeated Xoung Murphy (9.7) (Millerton) In a professional match of 15 rounds for a purse of £SO. Murphy, who was noarly outed in the Hrst round had several precarious moments in some other rounds, and Anally succumbed in the ninth round. A six ruuud amateur bout, Boyd (Dcmviston) v. Ueddes (Jtlllerton) was won by\Boyd on points after a clean, clever exhibition of boxing.
