THE LOT OF RETURNED SOLDIERS.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—l would like to point out to your correspondent, "A Digger/' that although he and other returned soldier* are not getting fair treatment in employment, they are getting a lot of privileges and concessions that stay-at-homes do not get. For Instance, facilities! for getting on the land, and borrowing money. Since returning they received a war gratuity, which must amount to something. Stay-at-homes, C2 <men, those too old or too young to be sent to the war do not get those concessions. If "A Digger" wants a job in a dairy factory, I say, keep out. Wages are too modest, no bonuses, and promotion Is slow. —I am, etc., MAHINJ3.
