San Francisco, Dec. 19.—King Cyrus, for New Zealand. Melbourne, Dec. 22 —Hula, for New Zealand THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived at about 4.30 jesterday afternoon. She will probably complete the discharge of her cargo to-day and sail again for Greymouth this evening. THE RARAWA. A south-west gale and a heavy sea delayed the Rarawa somewhat on the voyage from Onehunga and she did not berth here until about 10 30 yesterday morning. Besides passengers she brought a considerable Quantity of cargo. She returned north last night, and Is due again to-morrow morning. THE MALAITA. The MaTalta was engaged yesterday In discharging her cargo of phosphates, and It it expected she will get away to-ilght or early to-raorrow for (greymouth. THE KAHIKA. The Kahlka which Is to take cheese from tills port to Wellington,' Is scheduled to leave Lyttelton to-day, and Is due here on Thursday with a small quantity of cargo. Work will pot be commenced until Monday. THE MANUKAU BAR. A report dealing with Manukau Heads was submitted at the laßt meeting of the Auckland Harbor Board bp the harbormasters of Auckland and Manukau, who recently carried out a survey of the channel and bar. Referring to the main channel the report stated that the banks had altered considerably, and the positions shown on tho AdmlraHy chajrt were incorrect. It was recommended that two beacon lights be erected on Windy Point, and that the main channel light at Destruction Gully be altered to an unwatclied light. After urging the board to expedite the erection of the new beacons tile report recommended that the masters of vessels drawing over 12ft of water be advised to cross tho bar only during daylight, at the same time paying caTeful atteni tion to any semaphore signals made from th{ flagstaff on the south head.
