A meeting of., marine engineers rejected the owners' otTer to pay according to the New Zealand rates with a minimum of £lB per month for juniors. The men demand £l9 5s to £6l 10s. INCREASES IN GRAIN PRICE§. Eeceived Dec. 17, 0.40 p.m. Sydney, Dec. 17. The necessary Commodities Commission lias decided to recommend increases in the selling prices. Flour is now £ll 17s fid, bran and pollard £7 ss. bread a farthing higher, and wheat 5/6 bushel.
