THOROUGH ORGANISATION, By Telegraph.—Press Asm.— Ccpytlght. London, Dec. 15. The House of Commons passed the Air Forces votes. Mr. Churchill said the air estimates for the current year were 54 millions It was' Calculated that it would take five years .'to, put the Air Force on the permanent barfs. There would be a joint Imperial War Staff for three years and theft single control. It waß the. first duty of the Air Force to garrison the Empire. He considered that it was not tn® duty of the Government to give grants to promote civil aviation. The Cape to Cairo- air route had been completed and it only needed an incentive to in duce aviators to fly by that route. He suggested that the Band millionaires Should give a prize similar to that ofjercd by the Australian Government.— Am-N.Z. Cable Assn.
