AUSTRALIANS COMING HOME. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Capetown, Dec. 13. The Australian cricketers sailed to-day. NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. By Telegraph.—Tress Association. Christehurcli, Dec. lfi. At a meeting of tho Management Committee of the Now Zealand Cricket Council, it was decided to do nothing further in the matter of arranging for a visit from an Australian team this summer. Tho question of reviving the inter-Island match was brought up and it .was decided to obtain the opinion of the six major Associations on the subject. It was agreed to communicate with the Australian Board of Control on the question of arranging a fixed programme of visits between Australia and New Zealand. Cricketers are requested to meet at the Recreation Grounds this afternoon at 2 o'clock for a practice match. Teams will be selected from the players on the ground.
