There was a large attendance, the day being a holiday. The totallsator handled £34,060 10s, making £60,915 fat the meeting, aßainst £27,040 10s at last year's one day fixture. Results:— . A trainer's license was grunted to H. Jury: jociwy's licenses to E. L. Goodwin and H. Johns (as from .Tannary Ist), and H. H. Tate; apprentice jockey's license to E. C. Kendall (as t'rnm the 26th. inst). Several applications for licenses were held over. The action in confirming the' cancelling of W. Ayres' jo.-kcy's license was confirmed.
