Auckland, Last Night. tor the first time in the history of the Dominion mail matter was carried by seaplane to-day, when a trial trip was made from Auckland to DargaviUe and back to Auckland. The trip was accomplished without a hitch and mails iwre envied both ways. The trip to DaiWyilJe occupied one hoar and thiityflve minutes, and the return journey one tour aad twenty-three minutes.
