NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Though the summer is well advanced, the New Plymouth Club's links at Waiwakaiho are In splendid order and the grass is being kept down. The course has never been better for summer play, and many members are going to play throughout the year. An indication of the condition of the links was provided on Saturday, when four players (J. Paton, Butcher, Robe'rtshaw, and Milne), went round and returned a card of 72 for the best ball, gome of the holes were particularly good, such as a three for the second, and a four for the sth. the longest hole on the course. The details of the best ball are: Out, 5, 3, 3, 5, 4, 5, 3, 0, 5—39; In, 3, 4, 4, i, 8, 4, 3, 4, 4, —33.
