Received Dec. • 14, 5.5 p.m. London, Dec. 13. It is reported that the Bolsheviks' capture of Poltava is authentic. Information from South Russia shows that the Bolsheviks occupied Bielgorod, and are now within fifty miles of Kharkov. It is feared that Kieff is almost surrounded. The situation causes anxiety owing to the inability of Koltehak and Yudenitch to exercise pressure, thus permitting the Reds to sweep down upon Deniken.—Auus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. In the House of Commons, Sir Hamar Greenwood (Under-Secretary for Home Affairs) said the Supreme Council at Paris had requested the Provisional Government in E3thoni» not to take drastic action in regard to General Yudeniteh'a army, pending a decision of the Conference. Meanwhile the disposal of General Bermondt's forces is in the hands of the Inter-Allied Military Mission.—Reuter..
