PRISONER BREAKS GAOL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Dec. 13. A dangerous criminal named William Nicollas Clausen, undergoing sentence of five years for breaking and entering at Timaru, escaped from Paparua prison this morning. TOURISTS FOR NEW ZEALAND. Wellington, Last Night. According to a letter received by the Tourist Department from Mr. Blow, the [few Zealand Government agent in Sydney, there is every indication that a [ecord number of Australians will visit New Zealand during the coming tourist season, He is daily receiving enquiries from intending visitors.
