ITS FUTURE DISCUSSED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyricbt. Received Dec. 13, 5-5 p.m. London, Dec. 11. There will be no meeting of the Supreme Council in Paris during M. Clemeneeau's absence. It is stated in Paris that the whole question of the Peace Conference and the Council owing to the departure of the American delegation, will be one of the chief subjects for discussion in London, i—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. DEPARTURE OF AMERICAN DELEGATION.
Received Dec. 13, 55 p.m. Paris, Dec. 11. Senator Folk, in an interview, confirmed the departure to-night of the American peace delegation, but he in nowise connected the attitude of the American Senate with the departure, which was arranged at the beginning of November. It is anticipated the Peace Conference will be replaced by a council of Paris ambassadors of the Powers.— Reuter. ROUMANIA BROUGHT TO HEEL. Received Dec. 13,-5.5 p.m. Paris, Dec. 11. The Roumanian plenipotentiary has signed the protocol acceding to the Austrian and Bulgarian treaties and the Treaty of Protection of the Minorities—Reuter.
