WANTS TO EQUAL BRITAIN. By Telegraph.—-Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec; 12, 5.5 p.m. Washington, Dec. 10. The Navy Board, in recommendations submitted to Mr. Joseph Daniels (the Secretary of the Navy), aims to make the American Navy equal to the British by 1925. The Board points out that a large Navy is required for the protection of the coastline, and the United States' merchant marine.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
