CRICKET.
TRIAL MATCH. The selectors for the North Taranaki Cricket. Association, Messrs. Lash, Bottr:il, and Clegg, have selected the following from Thursday cricketers to play un "A" and "B"' match to select a representative team aaainst the "Nomads" on December 30th and Slat: — "A" team: Nicholls, Whittle, Roberteon, Nicoll, Clegg, Saunders, Partridge, Waller, Sutherland, Xl'Donnell, Harknftss; emergency, Rowlands. "B" team: King, Woollett, Austin, Roper, Hughes, Foote, Cutfield, Butchef, Elliott, Currin, AVoods; emergencies, Sole, Bird • The match will be played on the Recreation Grounds to-morrow at 2 p.m. Hasell and Robertson have notified the selectors that they are unable to play on Saturday. Their places have been filled by Sinckir and O'Halloran.
