Store pigs (small) £2 15s, weaner pigs 30s, store cows £7 7s 6d to £9 12s, Jersey bull £l4, yearling heifers £4 to £5 10s Bd, dairy heifers to £0 10s. On Tuesday, December 2, we held our usual fortnightly salo at Manala, when the advertl»ed cattle came forward in good numbers, a satisfactory sale resulting.' We quote: Store pigs £3 5s to £4 6s, weaner pigs £2 ss, sows In pigs £6 12s 6d to £B, bulls £7 15s to £l4 15s, forward cows £ll 12s 6d, s'ore cows £7 5s to £9 16s, empty heifers £6 9s to £8 3s, yearling heifers £4 13s, dairy heifers Sll 2s 6d to £l4. On Friday, at Palmer road, cattle were yarded in average numbers, and prices were in vendors' favor. Fat cows to £l3 16s, forward cows £lO 10s to £ll 15s, store cows £7 10s to £9 15s, light store cows £4 to £0 sows In pig £6 5s to £lO. On the same day at Waverlev there was a. poor yarding of cattle, but numerous sundries which were offered sold at ruling rates. FARMERS' CO-OP. REPORT. At Okaiawa 'on Monday there was a small yarding of cattle. Store cows sold well at prices slightly easier than last week's rates. The demand for well-grown yearling heifers was good, but steers were only saleable at very low money Quotations: Forward cows to £ll 12s 6d, others to £9, yearling steers to £4 IH, Jersey cross heifers to £8 15s, small yearling heifers £3, bulls to £9 12s 6d At ritham, on Wednesday, we held our usual fortnightly salo. There was a large entry of good forward cows, which sold at prices in vendors favor. Although bidding was slow we managed to sell practically the whole of the entry of big cattle. There was a limited demand for well-grown yearling heifers, but small sorts and steers were hard to quit.
