ET TE BRUTUS.

(Published as an Advertisement). To the "Editor. kir, An effusion apne&red in your issue of 3rd inftt. signed J.YI. Taylor and headed 'About Queer Polities." Tlie significance of the lading speaks for itseli when one lias made himself conversant with J. 0. Taylor's version' on politics. Jt is plainly seen that J Q Taylor is practically on,his last legs regarding John Biggins, lie has, no doubt found himself totally unequal to the occasion, but in his dying hours he attempts to strike out and- aim a venomous blow at our, worthy, and talented •member of Parliament, Mr. S. G. Smith. He must be ignorant of the fact that Mr. Smith proved himself--.beyond doubt to be one of the' ablest* inen representing any constituency in this Dominion. Fancy, Mr. Editor, .the unscrupulous attempt to drag .Mr. Smith over the coals when he lias shown quite eleaylv during his reign in Parliament thait 'lie is Z hosom friend of the like of our "worthy subject," J. 0. Taylor. I would like to know what Mr. Taylor means in his interesting lus'- stupendous drive at Mr. iSmitiPhjj, "similar outrageous utterances." My opinion is that my able friend J. 6. TaypV ought to take a. back seat, like sotfft>.'of our Hon. Ministers. No doubt sciine of them ought to he retrenched Avijh of standing orders, and a look after 'them. Mr. Taylor, however, can rest assured that he has. the -fight entirely on his own, and won't find "much consolation in beating the atmosphere as he is doing at present. I suggest that the sooner he weighs in Avith the majority lhe sooner he'll convirice himself that for the past forty years he has been side-tracked and misrepresented. I give •T. 0. Taylor credit for some brains, and trust that he will use them tc the best interests of the country by voting Mr. S. 0. Smith into power with an overwhelming majority at the forthcoming election.—l am, etc., . . H. ENNTS. Inglewood, Dec. 3. >
