AMERICAN DISORDERS.
SOLDIERS AND I.W.W. ARMISTICE DAY FIGHT. Vancouver, Nov. 12. A message from Seattle states that four American Legion men are dead, three are wounded, one member of the Industrial Workers' of the World Organisation is hanging dead from the bridge over the river, and the I.W.W. hall is gutte'd, as the result of the I.W.W. attack ou the Armistice Day parade conducted by the American Legion, in Centralis, on Tuesday. Five hours after the volleys were fired from the I.W.W. headquarters' and the adjoining buildings the mob cut off j the city lights, broke in the gaol door, snatched the I.W.W. secretary, and rushed him in an automobile to the bridge, out of the town,-where he was lynched. Centralia had been combating the radical element for several years, and Tuesday's shooting was the climax of a series of conflicts. Two years ago it was reported that the I.W.W. had planned to burn the Red Cross Hall, and at that time the citizens raided the I.W.W. hall, burned the fixtures, and drove the secretary from the town. Other radicals have since been driven out. Every I.W.W. man is now being listed and ordered to leave. Yesterday's first attack came in the form of a concentrated volley. The city was quiet today, the soldiers being iii charge. Hundreds of telegrams have reached the pity officials at Centralia congratulating them on running the extremists out.
