AN EMPEROR'S VALUABLES.
BRITISH OFFER TO PURCHASE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, Received Dec. 3, 7.40 p.m. London, Nov. 28. An English syndicate has offered £10,000,000 for the Austrian Emperor's .tapestries, gold, silverware and objects d'art, if the Allies will allow Austria to sell them in order to use the money to relieve the famine. The syndicate fears, however, that the Allies will claim the objects as part of the war in-demnity.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
