Ltd., Stratford, report as follows : On the 21st November, at our monthly sale lu our Tarata yards most pens sold at current rates: Yearling ;o 15-months steers 78s' to 100s for well-grown rattle, yearling bulls £5 12s Gd to £6 2-.vear empty heifers £0 to £7 Ss, yearling heifers £3 18s fid to £4 2s 6d, 2-year heifers showing Jersey cros9 £8 M On November 25th, at our Stratford yards, store cattle sold at reduced values. Dairy heifers and cows wero all quitted at satisfactory values. Store cows small and poor condition £5 18s Gd, forward cattle up to £7 14s, well framed cows £8 7s to £0 10s, 15-mcmth Holstein and Jersey bulls £6 10s to £lO, 2-year empty heifers £6 lis to £7 os, yearling heifers Holstein cross £4 fls Gd, mixed colors £3 3s to £4 Is, Jersey heifers small soi;is £5 ss, yearling to 15-months steers £4 Is to £4 lis, springing to £9 ss, good dairy cows £l3 10s to £lO 10s. On November 28, at To Wera yards, every* thing sold at the hammer, or immediately afterwards, at reduced values: Store cow 3 £6 15s to £8 10s, 35-month steers £3 3s 6d to £4 ss, yearling heifers £3 12s 6d to £5 for well-grown heifers.
