INFLUENZA.
CASES IN AUCKLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Twenty-four cases of influenza were notified in the Auckland health district during the 24 hours ended at noon today. They comprised nine in the city and fifteen in the country. In addition five eases of pneumonia were reported, four in the city and one in the country. All the influenza cases were stated to be of a mild nature. WELLINGTON CASES. Wellington, Last Night. During the week ended noon, December 1, seventy eases of iniiitonza were reported in tho Wellington health district. Only four cases were, of a pneumonic type, the remainder being classed ns mild. Dr. Watt, district health officer, expressed the opinion that the position was quite satisfactory.
