It was apparently due to spontaneous combustion. The cargo consisted entirely of copra, of which all but live hundred tons was discharged before the outbreak. About 220 tons was totally destroyed. • The prompt extinction was due to a lucky chance that two floating fire engines, whicii had been working on tli3 I'rinz Hubertus, were still in dock, and were able to Btart a few minutes after the outbreak was reported.—Aus.-N.Z. A cable was published yesterday, reporting the outbreak of Are, Tha Prinz Hubertus mentioned in the cable is also an exGerman liner. She was seriously damaged by fire a week or two ago.]
