STATE PURCHASE AND CONTROL NATIONAL PROHIBITION. Nominations of persons to appoint scrutineers in accordance with the Licensing Act, 1908, and the amendments thereto, in respect of each of the said proposals, must be lodged with me not later than five o'clock in the afternoon of the of the 10th day of December, 1919. And I hereby give notice that I snail on the 13th day of December, 1919, at the hour of 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at my office in Stratford, publicly consider all nomi-nation-papers of persons to appoint scrutineers which have been duly lodged in respect of the said Licensing Poll. TN pursuance of the Legislature Act, 1908, and its Amendments, I, Thomas Purcell, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Stratford, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 28th day of November, 1919, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as mcmber,for the said district; and that the latest hour for receiving nominations of candidates will be Noon on tho Bth [day of December, 1919, and that the 'poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling-places of the said district on the 17th day of December, 1919.
